This annual extravaganza, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), attracted a record number of attendees and exhibitors, solidifying its reputation as Asia’s most comprehensive gems and jewelry trade show.

Record-Breaking Attendance and Trade

The fair boasted a significant increase in attendance compared to the previous edition. Nearly 40,000 visitors from 117 countries graced the event, representing a remarkable 44% surge. This international audience included a strong presence from India, Myanmar, China, Sri Lanka, and the United States. The positive outcome translated to impressive trade figures as well. Over the five days, the estimated trade value reached 3.3 billion THB, exceeding the set target and showcasing the event’s role in facilitating international commerce.

Exhibitor Hub and Diverse Product Range

The fair provided a platform for over 1,100 leading exhibitors from Thailand and abroad. 2,400 booths showcased a dazzling array of gems and jewelry, encompassing everything from rough gemstones and precious metals to finished jewelry pieces. Visitors were treated to a wide selection, including pearls, diamonds, gold jewelry, fine jewelry, silver jewelry, costume and fashion jewelry, alongside displays of packaging, jewelry parts, and even equipment used in jewelry making.

A Hub for Networking and Collaboration

Beyond the glittering displays, the Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair fostered valuable connections within the industry. Special events like networking receptions and business matching programs facilitated interactions between attendees, promoting ongoing business partnerships. This collaborative spirit, along with the expertise of the organizers, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), contributed significantly to the fair’s success.

A Legacy of Excellence
